Police officers have managed to prevent a convicted criminal’s plot to castrate and murder teen pop mogul Justin Bieber, according to the news report by Albuquerque's KRQE.

Dan Martin, who is currently serving 978 years in New Mexico prison for rape
and murder of a 15-year-old girl in Vermont more than a decade ago, agreed with
a cell mate, Mark Staake, at the state prison based near Las Cruces to help
Martin execute several murders, with one of them being planned for the “Baby”
singer.According to the law-enforcement authorities, recently Mark Staake, who has been released recently, convinced his nephew Tanner Ruane to murder Bieber. The plan, created by Martin and Staake, was supposed to be executed during the young heartthrob concert in Madison Square Garden in New York City held in November. The criminals intended to strangle the singer and his bodyguard using paisley ties, castrate both victims and then kill them.
However, before the terrifying deed was completed, Staake was arrested again in Vermont on grounds of outstanding warrants
It resulted in Martin -- who according to news reports is "obsessed" with Justin Bieber and even has a tattoo of the young star on his leg – grassing on his own shocking plan and revealing the whole murder plot to police agents. Cops later found records of the phone communication between Martin and Ruane, where the criminals discussed the details of the killings.
After that Ruane was arrested New York police, who even found murder equipment and pruning shears with him during his arrest.
Scooter Braun, JBiebs's manager, revealed the details of the planned murder to the US Weekly, stressing that the star’s well-being and security was the major priority for his team.
"We take every possible precaution measure to protect and secure the safety of Justin and his fans," Braun said.
It looks like Justin got into a run of bad luck recently, with the potential murder plot coming just a month after his split from long-time girlfriend Selena Gomez.
